Mechanical Overhaul:  Mills Music will make your instrument like new.  We will take your instrument apart, clean it, tighten the key work, and replace all necessary corks and springs.  Then we replace and seat all pads and adjust out the instrument to "like new" playing condition.  Fine-tuning adjustments are free for 90 days after completion of repair.

Chemical Clean:  At Mills Music, our chemical clean starts with a careful disassembly of your horn.  We will pull all stuck slides, and assess the valves for a refitting if necessary.  The horn is then chemically cleaned inside and out and reassembled.  Accessible dents are lifted, and the slides and valves are lubed.

Playing Condition Repairs:  At Mills Music, our repair technicians will assess your instrument and can provide you with an estimate of the repairs they feel are needed to put your instrument back into good playing condition.

Playing Condition Repairs:  Here are some of the repairs we perform on brass instruments:  pull stuck mouthpieces (always no charge); pull stuck slides; re-fit valves; replace waterkey corks and springs; install new valve bumpers and felts to horn specifications, re-solder leaking joints or broken braces, remove or reduce accessible dents, re-level and re-align trombone slides, re-string French horns, and polish or buff horn exteriors.
